The San Francisco "Out of Site" Youth Arts Center sought to rename and rebrand its existing identity, and respective maketing to more effectively communicate the organization’s mission. More specifically, the non-profit's board sought to distinguish the organization’s reputation as considerably more than just an after-school-only program and promote it’s larger public arts projects and community based initiatives.

The pages below identify the organization's background, vision, mision and guiding principles; and illustrate the resulting new name and brandmark that was developed after a very thorough discovery and respective design process as well as final application to the organization's website.
Before and after. The original name of the non-profit youth arts organization was "Out of Site," which is shown above left. The new name "Youth Art Exchange" is featured above right.
A complete style guide of alternative logo lockups was created to handle the wide variety of applications the new brandmark would be used.
